The Therapist provides clinical social work services, including psychosocial assessments and individual, group, and family therapy. They are also responsible for treatment planning, crisis intervention, and discharge planning/case management.
The Therapist provides clinical social work services on a designated unit in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Lakeside Behavioral Health. The Therapist is responsible for psychosocial assessments, individual, group and family therapy, participation in treatment team planning, processing commitments, and discharge planning/case management service, crisis intervention and liaison services with referral sources and other departments within the hospital. Job Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate competency in the criteria listed in this job description. Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical/Counseling Psychology or Social Services related field required, licensure preferred.
Prefer knowledge of case management, discharge planning, group leadership skills, age specific growth and development, crisis and behavior management, family therapy theory and practice.
