We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Occupational Therapist (OT) with experience in upper extremity rehabilitation to join our high-volume outpatient hand surgery practice. The ideal candidate will work closely with hand surgeons to provide high-quality, evidence-based care for patients with post-surgical and non-surgical upper extremity conditions. Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) preferred
Evaluate and treat patients with hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder conditions in an outpatient setting Provide post-operative and conservative care in collaboration with hand surgeons Design and implement individualized treatment plans Fabricate, modify, and fit custom orthoses Educate patients on home exercise programs, precautions, and functional recovery Maintain accurate and timely documentation Communicate effectively with physicians and clinical staff to optimize patient outcomes Flexibility to travel between clinics
Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in Colorado Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) preferred (or willingness to pursue certification) Minimum 2-3 years of outpatient hand therapy experience preferred Strong clinical skills in upper extremity and hand rehabilitation Strong splinting skills Ability to work in team dynamics Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
