Job Description

About the Role

As an Emergency Department Registered Nurse, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a dynamic setting caring for patients with a wide range of urgent and emergent needs. This role requires strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and teamwork to assess, prioritize, treat, and stabilize patients across varying acuity levels.

What You’ll Do

  • Direct Patient Care
  • Rapidly assess, prioritize, and provide care for patients with acute and emergent conditions
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
  • Deliver timely interventions to stabilize patients and support positive outcomes
  • Care Coordination
  • Coordinate patient care in a fast-paced environment to ensure safe and efficient treatment
  • Delegate and guide assistive personnel appropriately
  • Collaboration & Communication
  • Work closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver emergency care
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, families, and team members
  • Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring safety and quality at every step
  • Patient & Family Support
  • Provide education and discharge instructions tailored to patient needs and comprehension
  • Engage family members and caregivers in care and transition planning when appropriate
  • Quality & Professional Practice
  • Maintain required certifications, competencies, and annual education
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and department training
  • Support a culture of continuous learning and professional development

Pay Range

$37.00 - $95.37

The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
