About the role

The Licensed Practical Nurse provides nursing care on the unit in accordance with ANA Standards for Addictions and Psychiatric Mental Health Care. They are accountable for shift-based nursing activities and promote practice enhancement under the direction of the Charge Nurse.

Responsibilities

  • KeyStone Center, located in Chester, Pennsylvania, offers substance use disorder and dual diagnosis treatment for adults.
  • We are located five miles south of the Philadelphia Airport, making our facility an easy location to travel to and from, for out-of-state treatment options and visitors.
  • Visit us online at: https://keystonecenter.net/ The Licensed Practical Nurse provides nursing care on the Nursing Unit in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of The Keystone Center and the ANA Standards of Practice for Addictions and Psychiatric Mental Health Care.
  • The Licensed Practical Nurse is accountable for assigned nursing care activities on a shift basis and is responsible for promoting and enhancing nursing practice on the unit under the direction of the Charge Nurse.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited licensed practical nursing program.
  • One-year prior experience in inpatient addictions or psychiatric mental health nursing preferred.

Requirements

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited licensed practical nursing program. One year of prior experience in inpatient addictions or psychiatric mental health nursing is preferred.
