This contract position offers a unique opportunity to provide exceptional care to expectant mothers and their families in a supportive medical practice environment.
As a Locum CNM, you will play a crucial role in managing prenatal, intranatal, and postnatal care, ensuring a positive childbirth experience for patients. You will collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive care and support to women through various stages of their reproductive health.
Provide prenatal, intranatal, and postnatal care to patients Conduct routine gynecological exams and screenings Educate patients on reproductive health and family planning Monitor patients during labor and deliver infants Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions Respond to emergencies and provide immediate care as necessary
Active RN license and certification as a Nurse Midwife At least 2 years of experience as a Certified Nurse Midwife Knowledge of current practices in obstetric and gynecological care Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Current certification in BLS and NALS Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
No call required
Daily Volume: 18 patients
Support Staff: MDs
EMR: Meditech
Must be board-certified
