Description

This on-site, contract position provides an excellent opportunity for an associate-level physician to make a meaningful impact in women's health through comprehensive patient care and innovative medical practices.

As a Locum MD, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality obstetric and gynecological services. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional healthcare in the community. Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive Ob/Gyn care to patients, including routine check-ups and emergency procedures Conduct prenatal exams and monitor patient progress throughout pregnancy Perform gynecological surgeries and procedures as needed Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals Maintain accurate and complete medical records for all patients Participate in case reviews and contribute to clinical discussions Stay updated on medical advancements and emerging practices in Ob/Gyn

Requirements

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Current medical license to practice in the state Board certification in Ob/Gyn preferred but not mandatory Strong clinical skills with a compassionate approach to patient care Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning Prior experience in an Ob/Gyn role is advantageous but not required

Schedule: 24-hour shifts

Daily Volume: 3 deliveries

Annual Deliveries: 2,000

Facility: Level III NICU, Level III Perinatal Center, Level II Trauma Center

Support Staff: CNM, on-call OB

Board-certification required
