Description

This on-site, contract position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic medical practice focused on providing exceptional patient care in critical situations.

As a Locum NP or PA in Critical Care, you will play a vital role in assessing and managing patient conditions, collaborating with physicians and healthcare staff to implement care plans. Your expertise will help us provide timely and effective treatment for patients in critical care settings, ensuring the highest standards of medical excellence.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations Develop and implement individualized care plans Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver optimal patient care Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Monitor and document patient progress and responses Assist in critical care procedures and interventions Communicate effectively with patients and their families Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the practice

Requirements

Associate degree in Nursing or a related field Current NP or PA licensure in the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications Previous experience in critical care or emergency settings preferred Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Commitment to continuous professional development and patient care excellence

Schedule: 12-hour nights

Daily Census: 15-16 patients

MD on call

EMR: Cerner

Paid travel & lodging

Medical malpractice insurance covered
