L&D Shifts available: Nights Shift timings: 12 Hours; Nights, 7.00 pm – 7.30 am
Coordinates total nursing care for patients in the clinical setting for assigned units within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing, applies the nursing process to the care of patients. Provides teaching for patients and significant others. Participates in treatment team meetings and administers medication and prescribed treatments Exhibits critical thinking and problem-solving skills Maintains regular, consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job location Documents patient care in the medical record. Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate overall care of the patient effectively.
Requires an ASN, Oregon RN license, and at least 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience including Fetal Heart Monitoring. BLS and NRP certifications are required, while BSN and EFM/STABLE certifications are preferred.
