Coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching, and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting for assigned units ICU Must demonstrate clinical competence by utilizing the nursing process Must assess and identify patient problems/needs Will establish a plan of care, implement interventions, and evaluate and revise the patient plan of care based on patient progress Responsible for assisting, supporting, and educating patients Must be willing to float to Med Surg occasionally when needed
Requires at least 2 years of ICU nursing experience and a valid RN license for New Hampshire or a Compact state. Must hold BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from AHA/AHSA and possess an ASN degree.
