The RN First Assistant carries out functions that will assist the surgeon in performing a safe surgical procedure with optimum results for the patient. Assist with surgical procedures in the perioperative setting. Collaborate with the surgical team to provide optimal patient care. Manage and monitor patient conditions throughout the surgical process. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures. Requires a BSN, Massachusetts RN license, CNOR, and BLS certification. Candidates must have at least 2 years of current RN OR First Assist experience and a valid Covid vaccination with booster.
