As an Operating Room Nurse, responsible for patient care in the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases of a patient's surgical experience. Provide patient education, circulating and/or scrubbing, and work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists during and after surgical procedures. Monitor patients’ conditions, administer medications, and document care activities accurately. Maintain compliance with state nursing regulations and facility policies.
Requires at least 3 years of OR experience, including endoscopy and various surgical specialties, and a valid Massachusetts RN license. Candidates must hold an ASN degree and BLS certification from the AHA.
