Position Name: Travel RN Home Health Location: Alpena, Michigan Specialty: Home Health Nursing Start Date: ASAP Employment Type: Full-time, Travel, Contract, Temporary Contract Length: 13 weeks Pay Rate: $2400 weekly Gross Pay based on a 40-hour work week (Includes Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
Home Health Shifts available: Days Shift timings: 8 Hours; Days, 8.00 am to 5.00 pm
Responsible for assessing home health patient needs, nursing care requirement and the delivery of nursing care on all assigned case load Assesses patient health needs, nursing care requirements, and delivery of nursing care on all assigned case load. Directs patient assessments by other nursing staff. Plans care for assigned case load and directs the planning of care by other nursing staff. Evaluates effectiveness of plan of care; ensures responsible care is rendered to patients. Implements nursing actions in accordance with established standards of nursing practice and demonstrates competence in nursing care of the neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric client. Completes patient documentation in a timely manner. Area of Coverage: Alpena County and Surrounding areas
Requires a valid Michigan RN license, BLS certification from AHA, and at least one year of home health experience. Proficiency with IVs, wound vacs, and central lines is highly preferred.
