Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking a PTA for a travel contract position in Hamlin, TX. We are accepting both local and travel candidates.
PTA, LTC Shifts available: Days Shift timings: 8 hours, Days, 8.00 am to 4.30 pm
Under the direction and supervision of physical therapists, physical therapist assistants treat patients through exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other therapeutic interventions. They record patients' progress and report the results of each treatment to the physical therapist. Implement components of patient care, obtain data related to the treatments provided, and collaborate with the PT to modify care as necessary. Assist the physical therapist in the treatment of individuals Help patients stretch and exercise certain muscle groups Work directly with Physical Therapist to assist patients Keep physical therapy area clean and organized Teach patients techniques like balance training
Requires a valid PTA license for the state of Texas and at least 2 years of experience. BLS certification and experience in Long Term Care (LTC) are preferred.
