CCU Shifts available: Nights Shift timings: 12 Hours; Nights, 7p-7.30a
Provides and directs nursing care and evaluates outcomes in CCU units or similar. Demonstrates Clear oral expression; oral comprehension includes listening to and understanding others; speaking clearly such that others understand. Demonstrates deductive and inductive reasoning skills; ability to write clearly; use of technology such as EMR Demonstrates selective attention – able to concentrate for protracted periods; time sharing – able to shift back and forth successfully between two or more activities Manages IV tubing, syringes, and other equipment Demonstrates information ordering skills – patterns of numbers, pictures, words and mathematical operations including medication calculation. Demonstrates ability to work with diverse patient and staff populations with sensitivity to cultural and spiritual influences impacting patient care. Unit: 12 beds Nurse to patient ratio: 4:1 / 2:1 (Depending on acuity of the patients) EMR: Cerner
Requires a Registered Nurse license for Michigan, BLS and ACLS certifications, and at least one year of critical care experience. An ASN is required, while a BSN and Cerner experience are highly preferred.
