OR Shifts available: Days Shift timings: 8 or 10 Hours; Days, 7.00a - 5.30p
Provides all aspects of OR Nursing including Circulate Prepares and assist in the set up of operating room for the scheduled procedure. Verify accurate and complete preparation of supplies, instruments, equipment and special order implants/instruments, pre-operatively. Opens and dispenses sterile items safely and accurately. Assess' special needs related to patient history, surgical procedure, positioning needs and length of planned surgical procedure. Counts sponges, sharps, and instruments with scrub person. Accurate charge capture for items utilized in the Operating Room for patient-specific charges. EMR: EPIC
Requires at least 2 years of OR nursing experience with mandatory circulating skills and proficiency in various surgical specialties. Must hold an ASN or BSN, a valid New Hampshire or Compact RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications.
