Position Details

Position Name: Travel Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health (Children) Location: Lawton, Oklahoma Specialty: Behavioral Health Start Date: ASAP Employment Type: Full-time, Travel, Contract, Temporary Contract Length: 13 weeks Pay Rate: Range $2016 to $2232 weekly Gross Pay based on a 36-hour work week (Includes Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Children BH Unit Shifts available: Nights Shift timings: 12 Hours; Nights, 7.00 pm - 7.30 am

Schedule

• 36 hours/week guaranteed, 3 shifts per week, weekends as needed (EOW), No call.

Recent/Current, 6+ months – Required Children experience – Required Travel experience - Highly preferred Education, License and Certification Requirements ASN or an equivalent – Required BSN or an equivalent – Highly preferred RN License for State of OK or Compact - Required AHA BLS Certifications - Required Handle with Care - Preferred

Job Description

Provides all aspects of professional and comprehensive nursing care in assigned behavioral health units Provides direct care to patients with mental health conditions by conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, administering medications, and providing therapeutic communication and crisis intervention. Key duties include monitoring patient well-being, educating patients and families, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a safe and supportive environment for recovery.
