Would you like to practice real medicine instead of working as a monkey inside the corporate-owned veterinary circus?
We are seeking a compassionate full-time (3-5 shifts per week) Associate Veterinarian who is interested in true veterinary medicine and practice ownership to join our team at this independent, privately-owned, established and growing small animal exclusive practice in the beautiful countryside of New Prague, Minnesota (SW Metro Minnesota, 45 minutes from the Twin Cities).

This position will allow for a 1-year, well-paid position for a full-time veterinarian (30+ hours/week), while you are trained how to administrate, manage financials, and provide positive, consistent leadership to our team, while you practice true veterinary medicine, as we finalize transition to practice ownership at the end of that period.
We own the real estate which will also be available for purchase.
You will primarily provide primary care and urgent care services to dogs and cats.
Daily responsibilities will include examinations and wellness exams, conducting diagnostics on sick pets, performing sedation procedures and surgeries, treating illness/injury and urgent care cases, prescribing medications, conducting follow-up care as needed, as well as learning and supporting the administrative and financial dealings of the practice.
We do a large volume of wellness and urgent care cases, have a large, trained support team including a full-time practice manager, and full-time LVT administrator, and we have awesome clientele.
If you are passionate about providing exceptional animal care, we’d like to meet you.
