We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, and adaptable Oncology Registered Nurse to provide coverage across multiple ambulatory clinic locations, including Long Beach, Irvine Sand Canyon, and Newport Beach/Fashion Island.

This unique float opportunity offers exposure to a diverse patient population and a variety of clinical experiences.

At our Irvine Sand Canyon location, you will care for patients with non-oncology diagnoses and chronic conditions requiring biologic and immunotherapy treatments.

In our oncology-focused clinics, you will play an integral role in delivering chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and comprehensive cancer care, supporting patients throughout every stage of their treatment journey.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative and patient-centered nurse who thrives in a dynamic environment, demonstrates strong clinical judgment, and is committed to providing exceptional care across multiple practice settings.

As a successful candidate, you will: Assessing patients’ health status Developing and implementing care plans Administering medications, monitoring patents’ vital signs and symptoms Providing education and support to patients and their families and coordinating care and follow-up appointments.

Help with managing side effects and complications from their cancer treatment.

Involved in quality improvement initiatives, and patient education programs specific to cancer care.

Utilizes the nursing process based on evidence-based best practices to meet the patient care needs.

Additional duties include stocking and maintaining infusion supplies, ensuring treatment areas are organized and prepared for patient flow.

Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Your qualifications should include

  • Associate degree in nursing RN III - 3+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse with oncology experience is required. Current California Registered Nurse license Current BLS through American Heart Association A valid ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Provider Card is required.

Requirements

Requires an Associate degree in nursing, a current California RN license, and at least 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse with oncology expertise. Must hold current BLS certification and a valid ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Provider Card.
