Our community is designed to support independence while providing personalized care tailored to each resident’s needs. Residents enjoy thoughtfully designed living spaces, engaging activities, and a supportive team dedicated to enhancing quality of life every day. We are currently hiring a Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our Nursing team and provide compassionate, high-quality personal care and delegated nursing services to support residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care.

Wage

  • Week 2: Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday What You’ll Do
  • Assist residents with personal care: dressing, grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, and applying lotions
  • Provide toileting assistance and incontinence care
  • Support ambulation, transfers, and repositioning using assistive devices and safe body mechanics
  • Offer assistance with hearing aids, glasses, and sensory devices
  • Provide medication reminders, assistance, or administration as delegated by an RN
  • Assist with blood glucose monitoring and insulin injections (delegated by RN)
  • Prepare meals per dietary plans and provide feeding support when needed
  • Record and report vital signs and resident concerns promptly
  • Provide companionship and engage residents in meaningful activities
  • Use dementia care techniques including validation and redirection
  • Assist with treatments as delegated by RNs or licensed therapists
  • Maintain household cleanliness: dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and laundry
  • Ensure proper organization and stocking of medical and household supplies What We’re Looking For At least 18 years old Ability to read, write, and communicate in English Commitment to working every other weekend and scheduled holidays

  • QualificationsQualifications: Must be at least 18 years old. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand basic English. Commitment to working every other weekend and scheduled holidays (Full-Time/Part-Time/Casual positions).

Preferred Qualifications

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) certification with the State of Minnesota. Experience working with older adults in a hospital, nursing home, or home care setting. Previous medication administration experience. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs., occasionally up to 100 lbs. Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, kneeling, reaching overhead. Ability to assist residents with transfers and mobility support. Must have adequate vision and hearing to perform job functions. Work Environment Assisted living and memory care community with resident interaction. Exposure to infection control protocols and safety procedures. Requires flexibility with work schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

Candidates must be at least 18 years old with the ability to communicate in English and a commitment to working rotating weekends. CNA, HHA, or PCA certification in Minnesota and experience with older adults are preferred.
