We are a 13 bed ICU at a Level 3 Trauma Hospital. We see a variety of patient populations with varying acuity levels.

Scope of work
Provide patient care assignments as delegated by and under the direction of a registered nurse. Clerical/manages supplies/equipment in designated care areas. Provides care to the patient according to the plan of care, unit routine and hospital policy. Documents in electronic medical
record.
Acts as a receptionist and organizes daily work assignment based on unit priorities.

Actively participates in safety initiatives and risk mitigating measures where appropriate and completes all position and unit safety related competencies and requirements on a timely basis.
Performs other duties as assigned.
This position requires a full week of corporate orientation. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm. You will be required to attend the entire week consecutively.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of a nursing assistant program or one year of experience. Basic Life Support certification is required, and a current CNA certification is preferred.
