Provide essential support and companionship to individuals in a residential group home, assisting with activities of daily living and medication administration. Responsible for transporting residents to community activities and maintaining accurate daily logs and behavioral data.
High school diploma or GED equivalent. Candidates must be able to read, write, and comprehend English to accurately follow care plans, document services provided, and communicate effectively with individuals, families, and healthcare professionals. Experience in providing training, case management and appropriate service delivery to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities living in the community. MAP (Medication Administration Program) Certification; training is offered by Waystone to acquire certification within 6 months of employment. CPR/First Aid; training is offered by Waystone to acquire certification within 3 months of employment. Valid Driver’s License in good standing with a minimum of one year of driving experience.
