Description Westminster, MD $19.68/hour | Flexible Evening Schedule, some daytime hours available (Thursday and Saturday) The Arc Carroll County is hiring compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide one-on-one personal supports to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
18+ years old High school diploma or GED Valid U.S. driver’s license that has never been suspended or revoked Ability to pass background, drug, and driving record checks Basic computer and keyboarding skills Ability to complete required training courses, including CPR, First Aid, Med Tech Certification, and other DDA-mandated training Ability to lift and manipulate up to 50 lbs frequently and assist with transfers Ability to stand for extended periods and perform frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pulling, and pushing Ability to assist with wheelchair handling, transfers, and securing individuals safely in vehicles
