Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Safely and compassionately handling and restraining pets during exams and proceduresTriaging incoming patients and assisting with patient flowCollecting and processing laboratory samples and assisting with diagnostic testingTaking and assisting with radiographs (x-rays) and other diagnostic imagingProviding nursing care for medical and hospitalized patients with a range of conditions and stability levelsAdministering medications and treatments as directedCommunicating clearly and compassionately with clients regarding treatment plans and patient careAssisting with surgical preparation, surgical support, and anesthetic monitoringQualificationsWe’re looking for a motivated Veterinary Assistant who’s ready to grow with a supportive, fast-paced team!Prior veterinary experience preferred (1+ year ideal), but we welcome candidates who are eager to learn and build their skillsCompassionate, calm under pressure, and a true team player who thrives in a collaborative environmentStrong communicator with excellent multitasking skills and a positive, can-do attitudeComfortable and confident handling and safely restraining pets of all sizes and temperamentsHands-on experience with sample collection, obtaining medical histories, and assisting with laboratory testing and radiographsSurgical and anesthesia experience is a strong plus, but not required—we’re happy to train the right candidate!Self-motivated and eager to continue expanding knowledge and advancing clinical skillsWe’re looking for someone who enjoys both the medical and hands-on aspects of veterinary care and wants to be part of a team that supports learning, growth, and high-quality patient care.Additional InformationPay Range: $18-$21 based on experienceJob Type: Full-TimeWe offer our staff:Comprehensive Benefits (health, dental, vision, liability, 401k & 401K matching program, life & supplemental insurance, HSA, & FSA)Employee Assistance ProgramPaid Vacation and Sick Time for ALL EmployeesPaid Bereavement ProgramPaid Parental Leave ProgramCompetitive CompensationContinuing Education Allowance (applies to licensed/registered/certified roles)Tuition Reimbursement Program Available to any AVMA Accredited Veterinary Technology ProgramCareer Development OpportunitiesReferral Bonus Program for most positions!Additional Benefits May Also Be Available (i.e.

Requirements
