About the role

The pharmacist provides clinical pharmaceutical services and drug information to healthcare providers to ensure safe drug therapy. They manage distributive activities and serve a diverse patient population ranging from neonates to geriatrics.

Responsibilities

As part of the health care team, practices Pharmacy as a knowledge-based clinical profession, and integrates patient-oriented services with traditional distributive and drug control activities. Provides pharmaceutical services including drug information to nurses, physicians, and other health care providers. Advises the same with respect to drug interactions, contraindications and other relevant information to ensure optimal and safe drug therapy. Serves all patients to include, but not limited to, neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics. The Infusion Pharmacist will be working 4x10h shifts 730a-6p and every fourth weekend.

Qualifications

REQUIRED: Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy. Georgia Pharmacist License. PREFERRED: One (1) year of previous hospital pharmacy experience. Experience in Retail Pharmacy practice. Good communication skills. Work Hours: 730a-6pm Weekend Requirements: Yes

Requirements

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy and hold a Georgia Pharmacist License. Previous hospital or retail pharmacy experience is preferred.
