About the role

The Physical Therapist is responsible for performing evaluations and treatments while directing overall patient care. This includes supervising PTAs and non-licensed providers and coordinating with physicians to manage patient issues.

About the Role

Currently, GSOS is looking for a Physical Therapist to join our team. New and Experienced Therapist are welcomed! As part of our Physical Therapy team, we offer New Grad's a Mentorship program. Learn from our senior PTs on everything from evaluation and treatment of complex diagnoses. Mentorship includes case study reviews, hands on training, and participation in our patient care conferences to review treatment plans. What You'll Do Performing Physical Therapy Evaluations Performing Physical Therapy Treatments Directing patient care Supervising with active participation of PTAs and non-licensed providers Supervising patient progress and re-evaluate appropriately Coordinating with physicians and other practitioners for patient issues. What We're Looking For Graduate from an accredited PT program Licensed in the state of California Outpatient Orthopedic experience a plus Our Mentorship Program Includes Weekly meetings with senior PT to review and practice manual techniques, muscle testing, discuss clinical decision making, review and discuss Post Op protocols Co treats with senior PT to work 1:1 during meeting times Review journal articles and discuss with mentor to encourage critical thinking

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited PT program and hold a valid license in the state of California. Experience in outpatient orthopedics is considered a plus.
