We are looking for a Full Time Surgery Scheduler to join our team What You'll Do Verifying patient eligibility and coverage Scheduling surgeries, hospital procedures, and pre/post-op appointments Discussing preoperative instructions with the patient, as directed by the physicians Obtaining all requested medical clearances, preoperative testing, lab and EKG results as indicated Additional duties as assigned What We're Looking For: Education: High school diploma or GED certificate, college (Preferred)
Ability to preform multiple and diverse tasks with frequent interruption Working knowledge of medical insurances Experience: 1 year experience with physician group practice preferred EHR/EMR experience, NextGen preferred Experience as an MA, LPN, or RN a plus
