About the role

The role involves scheduling surgeries, hospital procedures, and appointments while verifying patient insurance coverage. The scheduler is also responsible for coordinating preoperative instructions and obtaining necessary medical clearances and test results.

About the Role

We are looking for a Full Time Surgery Scheduler to join our team What You'll Do Verifying patient eligibility and coverage Scheduling surgeries, hospital procedures, and pre/post-op appointments Discussing preoperative instructions with the patient, as directed by the physicians Obtaining all requested medical clearances, preoperative testing, lab and EKG results as indicated Additional duties as assigned What We're Looking For: Education: High school diploma or GED certificate, college (Preferred)

Qualifications

Ability to preform multiple and diverse tasks with frequent interruption Working knowledge of medical insurances Experience: 1 year experience with physician group practice preferred EHR/EMR experience, NextGen preferred Experience as an MA, LPN, or RN a plus

Requirements
