Join Our Team as a Physical Therapy Assistant!

Are you passionate about helping others regain their strength and mobility? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our Home Health team! In this role, you will work closely with licensed physical therapists to provide high-quality care to patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions.

Key Responsibilities

Instructs, motivates, safeguards, and assists patients as they practice exercises or functional activities.

Monitors patient's progress and provides feedback to the physical therapist

Communicate with or instruct caregivers or family members on the patient's therapeutic activities or treatment plans.

Performs routine treatment/care, services and procedures in accordance with plan of care delegated and supervised by the therapist

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Associates degree obtained from a program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association's (APTA) and the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
  • Valid Florida Physical Therapy Assistant License
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Physical Therapy Assistant
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be patient in dealing with an elderly population and sympathetic to hearing or vision deficiencies.
  • Language Skills
  • Fluent in English and Spanish required in order to communicate with our patient community
