The Medical Assistant with LMR assists staff and physicians by collecting pertinent patient information and performing selected treatments and diagnostic procedures. They maintain patient flow, assist with exams and procedures, and ensure cleanliness and order in the department.
The Patient Care Technician will be responsible for the examination and treatment of patients under the direct supervision of the physician or advanced practice clinician.
include but not limited to the following: check in patients, obtaining vital signs (height, weight, blood pressure, pulse, pulse oximetry, temperature) and medication reconciliation, patient medical history information, expediting patient flow, rooming patients, stocking clinic with supplies, navigating electronic health record system (EPIC), and performing other non-clinical duties as needed.
