As a Locum MD in Ob/Gyn, you will play a critical role in offering comprehensive care for women's health, working closely with a talented team of healthcare providers. Provide high-quality obstetric and gynecological care to patients Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop treatment plans Perform surgical procedures as needed, including cesarean sections Collaborate with nursing and support staff to enhance patient care Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Guide patients through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care Stay current with medical guidelines and best practices in Ob/Gyn Participate in departmental meetings and clinical reviews
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent degree Completion of residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology Valid medical license to practice in the state of Kentucky Excellent clinical and surgical skills in Ob/Gyn Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical practice Experience in a similar role is a plus but not mandatory
Schedule: 24-hour call, 7a-7a
Daily Volume: 3-5 deliveries
Support Staff: CNM
EMR: Meditech
Must be board-certified
DEA required
Paid travel & expenses.
