As a Locum MD in Neonatology, you will play a critical role in the management and treatment of newborns requiring specialized medical attention. Your expertise will directly impact the health and development of infants in our care. Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team, you will ensure the highest standards of patient care in a supportive environment.
Provide comprehensive neonatology services to critically ill newborns Conduct thorough assessments and diagnoses for neonatal patients Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals Monitor patient conditions and adjust treatments as necessary Participate in discussions and rounds with the healthcare team Maintain accurate medical records and comply with healthcare regulations Provide guidance and support to family members of patients
MD degree from an accredited medical school Current board certification in Pediatrics with a Neonatology subspecialty Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, ideally neonatology Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Commitment to high-quality patient care and outcomes Valid medical license to practice in the state of operation
Schedule: Schedule: 7:30a-5:30p or 5:30p-7:30a
68-bed Level IV NICU
Daily Volume: 15 patients
Preferred Procedures: ECMO
Support Staff: 3 APPs and 1 neonatal fellow
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
Level IV and Level III experience required
