Perform routine and specialized clinical or pathology laboratory tests in accordance with departmental and regulatory policies. Prioritize STAT testing and immediate processing to ensure timely results.
Under supervision of the section supervisor, performs routine and specialized tests in clinical or pathology laboratory section in a timely manner according to UHS, Hospitals’, Infection Control, Laboratory and Departmental Policies and Procedures, NYSDOH, CDC Blood and Body Fluids policies and procedures. Priority is given to STAT testing and to tests that require immediate processing.

This is a per diem position, which means you will work on an as needed, agreed upon basis. Working hours will be assigned by your manager.
$25.74 - $38.61 per hour, depending on experience

Associate degree in clinical laboratory technology or equivalent (NYS Certified Clinical Laboratory Technician).
One (1) year of clinical laboratory experience.
