Description Home Health Aide (HHA) - Night Shift, provides compassionate, resident-centered care to individuals residing in our assisted living facility. The HHA assists residents with activities of daily living and supportive services. This role helps promote residents' independence, safety, comfort, and overall well-being while fostering a positive and respectful living environment.
Job Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding as needed.
Provide medication assistance and basic health support in accordance with facility policies.
Monitor and report changes in residents' physical, emotional, or mental condition to the appropriate supervisor.
Check and document vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration, as directed.
Perform light housekeeping duties, including: Making beds Doing laundry Sweeping and dusting Maintaining a clean and safe resident environment Assist with meal preparation and support residents during mealtimes as needed.
Schedule and coordinate medical appointments when directed.
Provide companionship and emotional support through conversation, recreational activities, and social engagement.
Encourage residents to participate in activities that promote independence and quality of life.
Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and resident observations.
Follow all safety, infection control, confidentiality, and resident rights policies and procedures.
