Responsibilities

• REGISTERED NURSE - RN Mental Health/Psychiatric/Behavioral Health/Addictive Disease As the leading (and largest) free-standing psychiatric hospital in Georgia, Peachford is here to help.
• We are looking for Registered Nurses who have experience or an interest in Mental Health Nursing to help us on our mission to meet the needs of our community.
• Charge Nurse roles are also available.
• Peachford has been a leader in behavioral health and addictive disease treatment since 1973.
• Our 246 bed hospital treats nearly 10,000 children, adults and seniors every year who come seeking the best psychiatric care available.

Qualifications

• We train you to be the best, but there are a few minimum requirements for this position: Education Graduate of an accredited nursing program Experience Prefer one year of nursing experience Certifications/Licensure State of Georgia or eCompact MultiState Nursing License Other Helpful Skills Written and oral communication skills.
• Skills in case management.
• Skills in time management.
• Knowledge of acute psychological disorders, and advanced principals of abnormal psychology.
• Familiarity with follow-up resource services available to patients.
• Skills in maintaining information as highly confidential.
• Ability to treat all age populations as needed or have the capacity to develop skills through the organization’s cross-training and orientation program.
• Ability to clearly summarize pertinent clinical information via written correspondence and medical records documentation.
