What You’ll Do As a Respiratory Therapist at WakeMed, you’ll deliver expert care across a diverse patient population—adult, pediatric, and neonatal. Responsibilities include: Airway management and oxygen therapy Administration of nebulized medications Secretion management Planning, implementing, and evaluating therapy effectiveness Collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team Why WakeMed is the Destination for Respiratory Therapy Work in one of the busiest Level I Trauma Emergency Departments in the U.S. 7 Adult ICU assignments offering diverse clinical experience Innovative ECMO program with internal certification qualifying for NC ECMO licensure endorsement Perform
