Position Name: Travel Radiation Therapist - Oncology Location: Petoskey, Michigan Specialty: Radiation Therapy Start Date: ASAP Employment Type: Full-time, Travel, Contract, Temporary Contract Length: 13 weeks Local Pay Rate(Locals with 35 miles: $2520 weekly Gross pay based on a 40-hour work week Local Pay Rate (Locals b/n 35 - 50 miles): $2800 weekly Gross pay based on a 40-hour work week Travel Pay Rate: $2880 weekly Gross pay based on a 40-hour work week (Includes Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
Oncology Shifts available: Days Shift timings: 8 Hours; Days, 8.00 am to 4.30 pm
Responsible for the delivery of quality patient care through radiation therapy treatments. Perform treatment simulations, fabricates all necessary shielding blocks, and maintain accurate EMR. Prepares equipment for patient treatments performing quality control and assurance tests, ensuring proper infection control techniques, and adheres to optimal radiation safety and protection practices. All activities reflect the philosophy, goals, objectives and standards of hospital and nationally accepted standards of practice, provisions of quality patient care, environmental safety and inter-disciplinary cooperation. Maintains professional working relationships with medical staff. Accurately documents patient care and treatments provided
Requires at least 2 years of Radiation Therapist experience and ARRT (T) and BLS certifications. Candidates must have 1 year of travel experience or 1 year of experience with Varian and ARIA.
