ICU Units Shifts available: Nights, Days Shift timings: 12 Hours; Nights, 7p-7.30a | Days, 7a - 7.30p
Provide all aspects of Nursing care for patients in ICU Unit. Float to ED or SDU as needed. Uses clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat patient responses to actual or potential health conditions. Collaborates with other members of the health care team to develop, implement, and evaluate an individualized written plan of care based upon a physiological, psychosocial, spiritual assessment consistent with patient/significant other’s changing needs & goals Participate in patient and family teaching Records information concisely, accurately and completely. Participates in multidisciplinary treatment planning and revises plan of care based on assessment.
Requires a Registered Nurse license for Michigan, at least 2 years of recent ICU experience, and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. An ASN is required, while a BSN and experience in neurosurgical or open heart care are preferred.
