About the role

Provide medical assistance within a pediatric clinic setting at the UW Health N Bell School Medical Center. Responsibilities include performing clinical tasks, laboratory work, and phlebotomy to support patient care.

Work Schedule

100% FTE, full-time. Day shift. You will work at the UW Health N Bell School Medical Center.

Additional components of compensation may include: Evening, night, and weekend shift differential Overtime On-call pay

Qualifications

  • Graduated from an accredited Associate degree program or Medical Assistant program or have at least 2 years of relevant experience. Required
  • Laboratory and phlebotomy training required within 30 days of hire. Required
  • Drug and alcohol screening, and N95 training required within 30 days of hire. Required
  • Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required
  • Work Experience
  • At least one year of professional experience in a clinic setting. Preferred
  • Computer experience. Required
  • Licenses & Certifications
  • RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification is required upon hire. Required
  • Bi-Annual CPR certification. Required
  • Active RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification must be maintained. Required
  • Audiometry certification through Northern Illinois University or Health Conservation, Inc. (HCI), required within 30 days of hire. Required

Requirements

Requires a degree from an accredited Medical Assistant program or 2 years of experience, along with active RMA, AAMA, CCMA, or NCCT certification. Candidates must obtain laboratory, phlebotomy, and audiometry certifications within 30 days of hire.
