The PNP is responsible for diagnosing and treating clients with addiction and dual diagnosis in a residential setting. Key duties include performing psychiatric evaluations, managing medications, and providing crisis intervention and supportive therapy.

Diagnosing & treating clients in collaboration with clinical colleagues.
Complete psychiatric evaluations, consultations, treatment planning, medication administration / adjustments, medication assisted treatment (MAT / MOUD), mental status assessments, supportive therapy, and / or crisis intervention.
Prescribe and / or direct psychotherapeutic treatments or medication to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders.
Monitor effects of psychotropic medications on clients.
Revise / update plan of care based on client progress or lack of progress.
Candidates must hold a Maryland or compact state license as an RN CRNP-PMH or PMHNP and possess XDEA (Buprenorphine waiver) privileges. Experience with Vivitrol injections and BLS/CPR certification are also required.
