You'll work in a small, homelike environment with just 6 residents, allowing you to provide personalized, compassionate care.
Sign-on Bonus for Eligible OPWDD IRA/ICF Direct Care Positions Full time positions are now eligible for a $1,500 or $2,000 sign-on bonus, $375/$500 every 3 months for one year. Part time positions are now eligible for a $1,000 sign-on bonus, $250 every 3 months for one year. New hires and rehires are eligible for this sign-on bonus. The Residence Counselor is responsible for the actual implementation of each individual's Individualized Program Plan as determined by the individual and his/her Service Planning Team. This includes but is not limited to; ongoing teaching/assisting with community integration, social and recreational activities, money management, transportation, behavioral needs and overall health and well-being of the individual. The Residence Counselor meets regularly with the Shift Supervisor, QIDP, Residence Manager and confers with other members of the individual's Service Planning Team to ensure services are appropriate and meet with expressed (or implied) needs, likes, and choices of the individual. Will respect each individual’s home, belongings, and Agency property.

A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record. Preference is given to candidates with at least one year of experience in developmental disabilities or a related field.
