About the role

Perform diagnostic cardiac stress tests in conjunction with a cardiac testing specialist. Conduct noninvasive cardiac testing including EKGs, Holter, event, and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring.

JOB SUMMARY Works in conjunction with the Cardiac testing specialist to provide diagnostic cardiac stress tests. Also performs other noninvasive cardiac testing, including EKGs, Holter, event and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring.

Qualifications

Education

Completion of an accredited allied health, medical assistant program or equivalent. Associates degree in exercise or health science preferred.

Experience

  • 1-2 years in a cardiology healthcare setting with experience as an EMT, Medical Assistant or other allied health field. Experience in EKG or stress testing preferred.
  • Licensure,
  • Certification,
  • Registration: CCI certification (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) eligible; Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) certification preferred. Requirements
