Our MRI Technologists perform MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) exams in the hospital by selecting specific software parameters according to established protocols in order to assist the referring physician in diagnosis. The MRI Technologist prepares and positions patients, injects patients with contrast media, and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately to produce cross-sectional images of the body.
Must be a graduate of an accredited Radiography or MRI program with an Associate Degree. Required certifications include ARRT in Radiography or MRI, ARMRIT, and Basic Life Support (BLS).
