As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will support diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures by preparing patients, maintaining sterile technique, operating imaging equipment, and assisting physicians throughout complex cases.
Supporting a wide range of interventional radiology procedures, from vascular and nonvascular interventions to emergent and scheduled cases
Preparing procedure rooms, imaging equipment, and supplies to ensure readiness for high acuity and time sensitive cases
Positioning patients and operating fluoroscopic and related imaging systems to produce high-quality images that guide real-time clinical decision making
Maintaining strict adherence to radiation safety, infection prevention, and sterile technique standards
Anticipating physician and team needs during procedures to promote efficiency, safety, and optimal outcomes
Communicating clearly with patients and families to explain procedures, reduce anxiety, and support a positive care experience
Collaborating closely with interventional radiologists, nurses, anesthesia teams, trainees, and other allied health professionals
Participating in quality improvement initiatives and supporting the academic mission through interaction with students and residents

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Graduate of an accredited program in Radiography required; Associate’s Degree in Radiography preferred.
Must be eligible for ARRT (VI) certification.

May be exposed to, fumes, cold, heat, radiation, blood/body fluids and infectious disease. The pay range for this role is $41.00 - $56.50 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
