We’re seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join the Cornell Scott–Hill Health Center team. In this role, you’ll provide high‑quality preventive care, support our dentists during clinical procedures, and help patients build lifelong oral health habits. This position is ideal for someone who values community health and enjoys working with diverse patient populations.
Key responsibilities
Clinical Care — Perform oral prophylaxis, fluoride treatments, and sealant applications.
Diagnostic Support — Assist the Dentist with X‑rays, surveys, and mouth charting.
Patient Education — Teach patients (and when appropriate, parents/caregivers) proper oral hygiene and post‑treatment care.
Recall & Follow‑Up — Maintain the hygiene recall system to ensure continuity of care.
Quality & Compliance — Participate in hygiene audits and support departmental planning.
Team Collaboration — Assist with scheduling, represent the department on committees, and contribute to workflow improvements.
Perform additional duties as needed to support clinic operations.

Requires a degree from an accredited School of Dental Hygiene, a Connecticut Dental Hygiene License, and CPR certification. Candidates should be comfortable working with diverse populations and be available for evening and Saturday shifts.
