  • Here’s What You Need Education · Nursing Diploma required Or · Associate's Degree Nursing required Or · Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred Experience · Radiology / IR experience strongly preferred · Critical care experience is strongly preferred if without radiology / IR experience. · Moderate sedation experience preferred Licenses and Certifications · RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required And · BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required And · ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 days required And · NIHSS- National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification 30 days required And · CPI- Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 90 days required What You Will Do
  • Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
  • Assesses the patient
  • Plans the care of the patient
  • Intervenes as appropriate and evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
  • Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care
  • Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information

Texas Health Denton is the city’s only provider of obstetrical and neonatal intensive care services and is the largest provider of obstetrical services in Denton County. The ground floor houses a breast imaging center, outpatient physical therapy, cardiac rehabilitation and an internal medicine residency program. Requirements

Requires a Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree in Nursing, with a Bachelor's degree preferred. Must hold an RN license and obtain BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and CPI certifications.
