About the role

Provide diagnostic and therapeutic treatment to inpatients and outpatients with speech, language, or swallowing disorders. Educate staff, patients, and families regarding diagnosed disorders to support whole-person care.

Provides diagnostic and therapeutic treatment to patients who exhibit speech language or swallowing disorders and are inpatients or outpatients of Providence St. Peter Hospital or are seen through contractual speech/language services. Education of staff, patients and family is emphasized relative to diagnosed speech language or swallowing disorder.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree A graduate of a program approved by the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Upon hire: Washington Speech Language Pathologist License
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Requires a Master's Degree from an ASHA-approved program and a Washington Speech Language Pathologist License. Candidates must also hold a National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
