This on-site, contract position offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality patient care within our reputable medical practice.

As a Locum MD in Ob/Gyn, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive women's health care, including prenatal care, labor and delivery, and gynecological procedures. Your expertise will be vital in addressing the healthcare needs of our community, contributing to a collaborative environment that values patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality obstetric and gynecological care to patients Conduct routine examinations and screenings Manage labor and delivery processes Perform relevant surgical procedures as necessary Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare staff Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records Ensure compliance with medical standards and regulations

Requirements

Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology Valid medical license to practice in the state of Michigan Strong clinical skills and knowledge in Ob/Gyn practices Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus

Schedule: 8a-5p

Beeper call, 5p-8a

Setting: OP clinic in hospital with Level II nursery

Patient Census: 20 patients per day

Monthly Volume: 20-25 deliveries

Anesthesiologists/CRNAs available for epidurals 24/7

Support Staff

CNM, OB/GYN. WHNP, Medical Assistants, RNs, LPN

EMR: Cerner

Must be board-certified
