The Brunswick Family Health Center Emergency Department features board-certified, emergency medicine physicians available around-the-clock to provide comprehensive care to adults and children. Depending on the type of visit, there are specific areas designed to take care of individual needs efficiently and compassionately. Backed by the full resources of Cleveland Clinic, the Emergency Department provides advanced care to the Brunswick community.
As RN in the Emergency Department (ED), you will help patients feel comfortable, at ease and supported while receiving treatment. This position requires a caregiver who is empathetic, understanding and nurturing to ensure quality patient care and effective life-saving treatment. Our Center for Workplace Violence Prevention and Caregiver Well-Being sets caregiver safety as a priority, identifying, reporting and responding to incidents and providing safety resources.
00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. or 3:00 p.m. – 3:30 a.m. with every other weekend and holiday rotation requirements.
Provide direct nursing care.
Implement and monitor patient care plans.
Monitor, record and communicate patients’ conditions.
Evaluate, update and revise plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
Educate patients and family with educational materials considering cultural issues and other special concerns
Administer prescribed medications and treatment in accordance with approved nursing protocol
• Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
