Position Summary

As a Medical Assistant at MyCare 365, you’ll be a vital part of our care team, working side-by-side with providers and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care to our ambulatory patients. You’ll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced office setting, supporting clinical workflows and ensuring every patient feels seen, heard, and cared for. What You’ll Do: Assist with patient intake, vital signs, and documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) Support providers with procedures, exams, and follow-up care Coordinate referrals, lab orders, and patient education Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment Positions imaging equipment and adjusts controls to set exposure time and distance, according to specification of examination Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth patient flow and continuity of care WakeWay to Excellence – How You Show Up As part of WakeMed, you’ll embody our core behaviors: Respect for People: Compassion, empathy, dignity, and appreciation for every individual.
