The Medical Assistant is responsible for preparing patients for appointments, measuring vital signs, and maintaining clean examination areas. They also handle patient scheduling, telephone screening, and the documentation of patient care under physician guidance.
Exciting opportunity to join our growing team in West Boca! We are a midsized Pediatric Multispecialty Center seeking a full time Medical Assistant, Monday-Friday.
Greets, receives, and prepares patients for appointments/procedures; conducts interviews with patients, measures vital signs, and records information.
Maintains clean and neat examination areas in a manner consistent with OSHA standards.
Receives and screens telephone calls.
Schedules patient appointments.
Coordinates patient flow.
Prepares timely, legible, and complete documentation of patient care under physician guidance as provided by law, regulation, and established policy
Exhibits a high degree of courtesy, tact, and poise when interacting with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Candidates must have a high school diploma and obtain MA certification within 60 days of employment. Experience in a pediatric setting and bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish are strongly preferred.
