The Emergency Technician provides personal services to patients and supports the healthcare team by managing equipment and supplies. They perform clerical and nursing care support services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

The primary objective of this position is to improve quality. The Emergency Technician functions under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. Assists the healthcare team by providing personal services to patients by caring for equipment and supplies and by providing clerical and nursing care support services. EMT certification or Medical Assistant certification OR is within the final year of a nursing school program OR is an RN who doesn’t work as an RN at SMMC
